What Needs to Move from Your Fairfax Home?
List the household belongings you are taking, including furniture, appliances and heavy or oversized pieces. Photos help show what is on the list; add dimensions and weight when you have them.
If you are leaving unwanted furniture behind for disposal, put it on a separate removal list. That keeps the belongings going to your new home clear.
02
What Help Do You Need Beyond Carrying?
We can wrap and protect furniture, take it apart and put it back together, carry it on stairs, load and unload it, and place it where you want it. Tell us which tasks you need with your move.
Include where furniture should end up. Getting a piece to your address and carrying it to a room upstairs can involve different work.
03
What Is Access Like at Both Homes?
Share the pickup and delivery addresses, preferred date, and stairs or elevator details at each. A video can show the route out of your current place, but you also need to describe access at the destination.
If you do not yet know a destination detail, tell us what needs checking. It is better to discuss that before the written quote than to leave out part of the job.

Does Your Fairfax Move Fit the Service Area?
Heavy Friends Movers works within a confirmed 30-mile service area from its Alexandria base, covering parts of Virginia, Washington, DC, and Maryland. Share the pickup and destination addresses so we can confirm coverage for your job. A city name alone does not confirm coverage for every address.

How Do You Get Your Written Moving Quote?
Send photos or a walkthrough video, or request a free in-home estimate. Heavy Friends sends your written quote within three hours after receiving the information needed to price the move or completing the in-home estimate. The written price covers the work reviewed. If that work stays the same, the price stays the same; if the work changes, the price may change.
